I actually wrote a poem for my first assignment and I wanted to post it online for you guys to check out if you wanted. Its called "Comtemplation"

What makes us tick?
What inspires you to wake up every morning?
If you could do anything you wanted, what would you pick?

I know what I would
If I could I would do what I should
Live life to the fullest
If only I could

Inspiration
We all have obstacles
How we respond to them is what defines us
We can only work with what we have
That’s how he designed us

Contemplation
We often wonder
We often ask why
Where will we end up?
Hopefully somewhere in the sky

To fly with the birds
Knowing no limits
Moving swift as the wind
No worries
Everything below us
Not important, looking blurry

Livin my life from day
Different obstacles comin my way
Im just tryin to find my inspiration
Not to succomb to temptation
We all are here

Whats up,
My name is Khaliq Gant and I am a second semester junior majoring in Communications and minor in AEM. I am a music fanatic and listen to it 24/7. I am on the Varsity Basketball team here at Cornell and it wasn't until I was seriously injured playing that I began to actually make music seriously. I had to play piano as part of my rehab and took off from there. I played clarinet in the middle school and high school band but stopped playing my senior year of high school.

I enjoy listening to a variety of music, but really love R&B, Hip-hop, and jazz. I also enjoy a lot of other genres such as rock, house, some techno, and some country.
