Music 120: Introduction to Digital Music
Course Description:
Music 120 is a composition-based introduction to computer hardware and software for digital sound and digital media. Ability to read music may be helpful but is not required. The course focuses on fundamentals of digital sound, MIDI sequencing, and other techniques for producing electroacoustic music. Each student will create several short compositions throughout the semester.
