Music 659 is, first and foremost, a course about music making.  Students develop softwar and hardware techniques and expand their capabilities with technology, but this development is aimed a servicing the compositional goals of each student.  In all, students will compose four pieces: three exercises or “etudes” which will be perform and discussed and one final piece to be played in a semester-end class performance.
