No clue with Jack??

Can I get a little help with how to record from iTunes to Live with Jack??

Is there anyway to export the clip?  Or does the piece now have to be a Live piece??  I'm cool with that, it's just that I'm much more comfortable with Reason and would rather use the sample there.....

JackPilot help

Open JackPilot (the little JACK window).  Check its preferrences to make sure that JACK will be used as the Default Input and the Default Output.

Start JACK by pressing "Start" in the JackPilot window.  Now start iTunes and some other application to record with (I suggest Live).

Now open "Routing" from the JackPilot window and connect iTunes to Live.  To do this, select "iTunes" in the left pane and then double-click on Live in the right panel.  Live should turn red to show a connection.

Now in Live, record-enable an audio track to monitor Live's inputs.  Play something in iTunes and viola, you should see a level in Live.  Record into scenes in the Session view or just as audio in the Arrangement view.
