but in fact if youhave a tablet pc, there is a program written called tablet2midi which does the same thing but without multitouch.

If you run a PC here is an awesome program to slice and resequence live beats etc. its kind of like the cool parts of ableton Live in a VST version.. osx coming soon.. its called liveslice
