Recording keyboard sounds

Hi, I have two questions:

1)how do you record the keyboard in the studios?

2) how do you access the sound library from the computer?

Thank you,

Tiffany

1)
In Cubase, choose the QS8 as your input.  Raise the level on the mixer (and on the keyboard "volume" itself if it is not up already) and arm the track to record.

Note: The studio's have user tempates which contain all of the right pointers to studio devices.  To see what I mean, create a new project in Cubase and choose the template type as "B25x-template" instead of "Empty".

2)
To acces the soundfile library, click on "snd".  You will see "sflib" with it's subdirectories of sounds.  It should also show up on the Desktop directly as a link.
