In this assignment we’ll be exploring Ableton’s “Session View”, a dynamic, non-linear space for audio clip loading, editing, and launching. Our goal will be to build a short, 1 – 2 minute “mashup” from the provided loops we began using in class, using the controllers in the studios for the first time.

You can use as many or as few as you like in this remix. I encourage you to explore reusing clips and creating variations of them, as we did in class. We will get into more detailed ways of editing and manipulating sound in Live, so don’t worry if at first you stay with a more limited subset of approaches.
