For this week, I’ve asked each of you to seek out a sound and develop it for use in a short, in-class performance of a miniature / etude. You are free to use whatever means you like to create this sound. As you hone in on a sound for this project, take note of your process along the way. What sounds did you work through to get to the result? Were there related sounds discovered along the way that you aren’t using but have set aside in your minds as musically interesting for future exploration?
