As Cornell students, we have free access to all courses on Lynda.com, one of which is an Ableton Live 9 Essentials course with over 9 hours of videos, and also 1.8 GB of exercise files so you can follow along and practice what you’ve learned. I’ve gone through a couple hours so far and they are really good. The exercise files are in the downloads folder in Studio B, and I can’t remember where I put them in Studio C, but they’re there (I’ll update this when I figure out where they are in Studio C).
Thank you for sharing this, Dean. I saw this new subscription to Lynda.com and recommend the material there. There are also some excellent videos on microphones, recording, audio mixing, and other (non-Live-specific) topics.
I appreciate you downloading the exercises. If I have a minute, I;ll see about organizing them in a simpler way on the Sound disk.
