Hi everyone! My name is Aarohee and I’m a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences. I’m majoring in Biology and Psychology with minors in Spanish and Music. I’m taking this class because I want to learn more about DAWs, music performance techniques, and studio set-up. I have previous music experience in piano, violin, singing, and music production. I look forward to this semester!
Hello to the world. My name is David, and I’m a junior in the ILR School. I’ve always wanted to take this course, but I’ve never been able to until now. I do come from a music background–I play piano, guitar, sing, and the ukulele–but I want to seriously look into producing music now. I’m going to piggyback on this thread and introduce myself. My name’s Jasmine. I’m a senior Music major. I’m interested in making new sounds and learning everything I can about computer music before I graduate (and after, too, but I get academic credit for it now). When I grow up, I want to build new instruments, write music for vidya games, and get more people excited about all the cool musical stuff computers can do. Let’s get started!
